About Pernille Haaland

Pernille Haaland is a Norwegian-UK comedian, actor and writer.

A graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, she has appeared at the National Theatre (War Horse), on BBC One (Not Going Out), Netflix (LOL), and Norwegian television including LATTER LIVE, Cooking with Hellstrøm and 99 to Beat. She also appears in the dark comedy feature K-Town.

Pernille has been touring internationally since 2024, performing across Europe and returning to the Edinburgh Fringe. She won Best Stand-Up Comedian at Reykjavík Fringe 2024, was featured on The Times’ Best Jokes list at Edinburgh Fringe 2024, and was nominated for Best Comedian in Norway 2025.

Her European tour has sold out multiple dates, while her comedy has racked up millions of online views and attracted a worldwide audience.
